The concept of the Maker Faire
Maker Faire is an event full of inventions, creativity and resourcefulness where makers get the opportunity to show their creations to a wide audience. Makers are ranging from engineers to artists, scientists to do-it-yourselfers of all ages and from different disciplines. The purpose of this Maker Faire is to bring together, inform, inspire, entertain and connect the maker movement.
Makers who meet the profile get a FREE stand and facilities in this mega-cool event! Eindhoven Mini Maker Faire is, by and for the Makers!
Makers selection
The Eindhoven Mini Maker Faire is accessible and committed to a wide and varied selection. To achieve this, the number of entries per discipline may be limited if the demand exceeds the capacity. Non-commercial participants are given priority, and Makers with a sales position pay a contribution.
What is expected of you?
Every Maker is responsible to set up an interesting, attractive, safe and accessible stand/presentation. We also expect that the Maker receives visitors in person and answers their questions. The presence of the Maker for two days at the stand is a strict condition for participation. In addition, we would like to see every Maker to inform personal and interested contacts as much as possible about his / her participation in the Eindhoven Mini Maker Faire.
If you require a special arrangement for your stand, please indicate this clearly on the application form.
What does the Eindhoven Mini Maker Faire offer you?
The organization of the Eindhoven Mini Maker Faire provides the communication and promotion of this event in various media. Makers get during the event the opportunity to show their creations to a large and diverse audience. They can also exchange ideas and contacts and expand their network. In addition, the Makers are put in the spotlight and get a lot of publicity.
Eindhoven Mini Maker Faire offers a range of facilities and materials. The Maker is responsible for further additions to his / her stand.
What is provided by the organization are:

Basic electricity 220V (on request)
Free access to the event for 2 people
Participate?
Would you like to show and share your knowledge, creations and inventions during the Eindhoven Mini Maker Faire?
Register ASAP via the website. The decision on whether or not to participate in the Eindhoven Mini Maker Faire is taken confidentially, with respect for each Maker and communicated timely. To avoid further discussions about a possible rejection, no correspondence will take place on motivation after the selection.
If the Maker is elected, he will receive a participation confirmation. The registration is only valid when the Maker has sent his written consent by e-mail or post and has fulfilled the deposit of 50,- Euro (applies to Makers without any commercial purpose). On Sunday, August 30th immediately after the event, the deposit will be returned to the maker if the Maker indeed provided two days the agreed performance (we do not fuss about it here!).
We ask Makers with commercial activities (sale of products or services at the stand) an amount of 150, - Euro. Who after signing the participation agreement refrains from participation, still needs to fulfill this contribution.
In case of physical or material damage, Maker Days Foundation, organizer of the Eindhoven Mini Maker Faire is not be liable for this. The Maker is free to arrange a personal insurance.
